Aloha Performing Arts Co. will host open auditions for its June production of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

Aloha Performing Arts Co. will host open auditions for its June production of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

Five roles will be casted: Estragon, Vladimir, Lucky, Pozzo and a boy.

The boy could be a teen or a preteen, and all other roles require mature actors, with exact ages flexible.

Those auditioning should arrive promptly and plan to stay approximately two hours. Auditions will consist of reading from the script. In addition, each prospective cast member will be asked to share a personal observation or experience related to waiting. Attendance at both audition sessions is ideal, but not required.

An invitational callback audition might be hosted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, if necessary. Performance dates are June 13-29.
